在8/7 (週六), 福傳組將辨一次一天的朝聖之旅, 坐遊覽車參觀 Fr. Junipero Serra建立的第二和第三個傳教區. 在時光隧道裡,充滿樂趣地 穿梭於1771年和 2001年之間,懷念並感謝傳教士們的貢獻,也藉此機會,邀請我們身邊的非教友們, 參與這加州歷史的宗教活動.西班牙傳教士曾在加州建立21個傳教區.

Fr. Junipero Serra 26歲時在聖地牙哥建立了第一個傳教區, 1771年時70歲時，他所建立的第二個傳教區Carmel去世並葬在 Carmel 的教堂內. 1988年9月25日教宗保祿若望二世宣封為真福. 在1771年, Serra 神父又在北加州 Jolon 建立了第三個傳教區 San Antonio de Padua.
