China is a fast growing country. Besides the well known Chinese culture, Chinese language is the most popular spoken language in the world. In recent years, China has become the most active job market place for people from all over the world to explore opportunities. The up-coming event, EXPO 2010 Shanghai has also drawn a lot people’s attention to China. Learning Chinese as a second language would provide you opportunity in the future. In US high school, Chinese Language has become one of the AP classes recognized by many famous universities.
Sacred Heart uses the same materials and follows the same standard as other Chinese Schools in this area. Since our Chinese program was formulated and organized by our lay people in Chinese Catholic Community, our tuition is lower than that of other schools. Since 2009, we had added special class for those students who would take Chinese as a second language. It should be suitable for anyone who won’t speak Chinese at home.
Class format: Lectures, interactive teaching style, field trip (Chinese Culture exposure), home works, tests .
For those students and parents who might be interested in this program, they are welcome to come to our School end ceremony and pizza party at 4:30PM on Sunday, May 23. You could see the course material and talk to our teachers.
