Dear CM3 Parents,
Our kids looked surprised when I told them that our class starts with a triangle. They soon learned that this triangle, formed by the Holy Trinity, the most intriguing mystery of our Faith. We adults may conceive Trinity a complex idea. But for our kids, it is simply a model of love. It was my turn to look surprised when they told me that the Trinity represents the team work of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It shows how God loves us in a wonderful way! We then relate the Trinity to the Sign of Cross. We claimed that this gesture had made us special and linked us together as a group, a Catholic community full of Love.
But what does it mean by being together and how shall we act when living together? This is a subject that our kids will be exercising for the entire school year. For this session, we simply did a "How to make your paper man stand" game. Through this game, we reveal the concept of "Solidarity" and we show our kids what we can achieve by lending our hands.
For religious teaching, we learned how to use our student Bible, and the Prayer "Glory Be" which is closely related to the Trinity. Attached are some pictures we took during the class. A fun learning experience (for both teachers and students) that you deserve to share.
